torn in many directions

Elixa 2005

Last year I did just this in my diary, and surprisingly I found I kept all but one of my "resolutions". Many of them were aims rather than resolutions, and I see them more as personal wishes. So I'll try it once more. Its nothing too taxing for sure.

1. Be even more confident, and motivate.
2. To pass my City and Guilds VB course with nothing less than a merit.
3. Achieve or be near finishing my Leadership Qualification.
4. To read more books, both fictional and non.
5. Have had a sucessful first term at university.
6. To pass my driving test.
7. To start taking further training for motorcyle riding with a view to trying to take my test.
8. To have read the sixth Harry Potter book. (For sure a wish)

Life aspirations
1. To achieve a position teaching ICT in an upper school.
2. To reach a position of responsibility, either that of head of sixth form, department or deputy head.
3. To learn or work on a programme that uses special effects by computer.
4. To touch someone's life for the better.
(I'll leave it at that.)

Have a good new year everyone, and a wonderful 2005, its been a wicked 2004. Only six hours to go here in the UK.
